In July 2016 join Global Adventure Challenge to ride from London to Paris over four days. Get the chance to ride the last few miles of the Tour de France route through Paris, then the following day get to see all the final stage action LIVE from the world famous Champs-Elysees.
Starting in London, your 299 mile, 4 day route takes you through glorious English countryside, to the ferry from Dover to Calais. Once ‘French side’, you push on cycling along quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of northern France. Get ready for a fantastic bike ride – the tarmac in France is superb, and cycling is the nation’s favourite sport so don’t be surprised when the locals make way for you and cheer you on!
Whether you are a regular cyclist or simply enjoy a Sunday afternoon meander, as long as you are willing to train, then this cycle event is perfect for you. Global Adventure Challenge cater for all levels of ability on this ride. The special cycling experience, combined with a fantastic support crew to look after you, means this charity challenge is no longer a dream but a reality. Don’t worry about your luggage, water or food – they take care of it all – leaving you to just cycle and focus on your goal of reaching Paris.
The pièce de résistance of this cycle will be the spectacular view of the 324 metre Eiffel Tower, which marks your finish line. The days in the saddle are long, but upon reaching Paris and celebrating your achievements in this fabulous capital, the saddle soreness soon wears off!
There are two funding options for this challenge:
Option A - Minimum Sponsorship
You pay a registration fee of £99 then must raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,470. This amount covers your tour costs with the remaining money coming to our hospitals. This may seem like a big sponsorship target but our team will be here to provide help and advice to ensure you reach your goal.
Option B - Self Fund
You pay a registration fee of £99 and then pay your own tour costs of £735.
Simply register online through the Global Adventure Challenge website. See below for available dates.
