Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Charity raises funds to ensure continued excellence in treatment, research and care at our family of hospitals. We support projects which are designed to help patients and their families facing the most difficult circumstances.

  • Treatment - the charity ensures that the hospitals have the most up-to-date equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of our patients, giving them access to world-class care.
  • Research - medical research has played a critical role in developing the standard of healthcare that is so often taken for granted today, from antibiotics to the bionic eye. Our new hospital development means that we have medical treatment and research services on a single site. Our research projects aim to pioneer new ways to prevent, treat and cure complex life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
  • Care - visiting hospital and meeting doctors and nurses can be a daunting experience for any patient. We work to create non-clinical spaces within the hospital, enabling them to have somewhere that provides a comfortable atmosphere at a very stressful and difficult time.

If you are involved with a charitable trust that supports efforts in these fields, please get in touch with us. We have an enormous range of projects in the fields of treatment, research and care and would be delighted to help you further your aims in our hospitals.
