Steve Mycio Running Team

Steve Mycio OBE
Friday 24th March 2017

In tribute to former Trust Chairman, Steve Mycio OBE, who was a keen runner, we are assembling a team for the Great Manchester Run to raise funds in his memory for the new diabetes centre.

Steve was passionate about Manchester had written on his office whiteboard, “What have you done today to make the people’s lives of Manchester better?”

To honour his dedication to both the Trust and charitable causes, we are asking people to join us and lend a hand in one of three ways.

Join our running team

If you would like to take on the challenge of the Great Manchester Run 10K with us, places are available to buy directly from the Great Manchester Run website.

As part of the Steve Mycio Team you will receive a full fundraising pack and bespoke T-shirt, as well as the opportunity to join the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity team on the day at the charity village in Albert Square.

To make sure we know you are part of the Steve Mycio Team please select Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity in the drop down menu on Great Manchester Run registration page. You will also need to email charity.events@cmft.nhs.uk with your name, T-shirt size and address.

We will also be using one Just Giving page that we want everyone in Steve’s Team to use for raising sponsorship. Please share this with your family, colleagues and friends: www.justgiving.com/SteveMycioGMR

Sponsor our efforts

We realise that running 10K isn’t for everyone so for those of you who don’t join our running team please consider donating via the Just Giving page.
