The 2025 edition of the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity Impact Report is now out!

This last year, we funded amazing projects and achieved incredible things – all made possible by the donors and supporters who come together to make a difference for our family of hospitals.

Because of your commitment to our Charity and our hospitals, we can help to provide the highest standard of care to our patients. Because of you, we are able to support the provision of cutting-edge treatments and life-changing medical research. We are able to provide comfort and care to patients and their families and support the wellbeing of our incredible staff.

You’ve made a difference for young people like Sameer, a long-term patient who has been able to take advantage of the space for play and socialising in the Teen Hub. He’s also been supported by the Charity-funded Youth Service.

“Being a teenager is the age where we all socialise and learn new things, and I feel like I can do that with the support of the Youth Service. Otherwise, I would miss out on so much by being in hospital. They teach us career advice and they teach us secondary school transition advice. They teach us so much!” – Sameer, patient

You’ve made a difference for babies like Rex, who was born with two holes in his heart chamber and will need routine scans in preparation for heart surgery when he is older. Your support allowed us to purchase the latest echocardiography machine for the NICU, which will provide better imaging and more detailed scans that enable the clinical teams to more accurately diagnose any problems and decide the best treatment plan. It is also portable and takes up less space next to incubators.
