Bring the magic of movies to our patients.
Support our appeal to create a purpose-built MediCinema, to bring the therapeutic power of film to patients, young and old, cared for by our Oxford Road Campus hospitals.
Children’s Rocket Scanner Appeal
Rocket scanners are playful, rocket-shaped MRI simulators designed to help children overcome the fear and anxiety associated with an MRI scan.
By providing our hospitals with two Rocket Scanners, we can transform the experience of our patients – reducing distress and anxiety in the young children we care for. With your support we can ensure that thousands of children can be scanned without feeling so frightened that they need to be put to sleep.
Build to Beat Breast Cancer Appeal
We have has teamed up with Prevent Breast Cancer to build national training academy for breast cancer professionals and to help save lives.
The appeal is raising funds for the new training facility – an extension of the Nightingale Centre at our Wythenshawe Hospital site – to provide training for a generation of breast imaging experts, helping thousands more women in the region get their mammograms.
