Jennie McAlpine Visits Ward 84 for This Morning

In light of Coronation Street's storyline regarding Fiz’s daughter Hope being diagnosed with cancer, our charity patron Jennie McAlpine visited Ward 84 to meet some of our brave patients and their families. Her visit was filmed by ITV and featured on This Morning, Jennie on the sofa with Phil and Holly.

Jennie also spent time chatting with patients Charlotte Jennings and Harley Renshaw to learn what it is like being a child with cancer. She also spoke to both of their mum's to understand how they coped when their children were diagnosed.

It was a pleasure to welcome Jennie to our hospital as she got to know some of our special patients.
