Great Manchester Run
Great Manchester Run is back for 2025 and we’re excited to have you be part of our team!
Click on the buttons below to choose between the 10k or Half Marathon events or click here to register for the children’s events.
How you support us
Support our family of hospitals by clocking up the kilometres for our patients, families, and staff. Every step you take, every milestone you reach and every pound you raise, will make a difference for patients, families and staff throughout our NHS Manchester hospitals. Choose the hospital you feel a connection to, or fundraise for a general pot, which means we can allocate the money to where it is needed most.
Whether you’re a complete novice, a casual jogger or a seasoned runner, every step you take in this iconic event will help us to improve lives, change lives, and save lives.
How we support you
Everyone that signs up to support us in this year’s event will receive a fundraising pack crammed full of resources and top tips to level up both your running and fundraising.
Got your own place in the event? We’d love to have you on the team! Follow the relevant link and choose the ‘Own Place’ option.
Ready to sign up?
Some people sign up with Great Manchester Run directly, but the best way to be part of our team is to secure one of our Charity places. In return, we ask that you commit to raise money in support of our family of hospitals. You can have a Charity place for either the adult 10K or Half Marathon events and for the children’s events – the Mini and Junior runs.
If you have any questions please contact the Events team on charity.events@mft.nhs.uk or call 0161 276 4522 and ask to speak to a member of the team.
