Whilst providing an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, it also offers the chance to make a positive impact on patients, and their families, cared for throughout our family of NHS hospitals.

Take on a fantastic five-day trek with our partner Global Adventure Challenge on this breathtaking challenge.

The challenge takes you past watch towers and mountains, through historic battlement stations that are well off the tourist trail – there are many sections during this challenge where we’ll feel the Great Wall is for you only, with no-one else in sight.

Aftet the trek, you’ll have some free time to explore Beijing’s famous sites such as the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square before a celebratory dinner.

Challenge highlights:

• Explore remote sections of the wall, far from the tourist trail
• Trek along a Wonder of the World!
• Visit a new section of the wall each day
• Enjoy free time exploring Beijing including its Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square.

*You pay the non-refundable Registration Fee to Global Adventure Challenges to administer the challenge, and to secure relevant permits. You then commit to raising the minimum sponsorship – 80% of the minimum sponsorship MUST be received by the charity no later than 12 weeks before departure. The charity will then pay for your Challenge Costs out of the sponsorship raised. An airport tax and fuel surcharge contribution of £250 also applies.
