Whilst providing an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, it also offers the chance to make a positive impact on patients, and their families, cared for throughout our family of NHS hospitals.
The London to Paris Bike Ride is an awesome cycling challenge and by far one of the best fundraising events in Europe, attracting hundreds of riders each year and raising thousands of pounds for charities nationwide. You’ll spend 4 days in the saddle, cycling from capital to capital with our partner our partner Global Adventure Challenge.
Your journey begins in London, with our route taking us through glorious English countryside as you cycle from Kent to Dover, before crossing the Channel and continuing through the rolling green fields of Northern France, where you’ll pass the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme. A spectacular finish awaits you as you reach the home stretch around the Arc de Triomphe and down the Champs Elysées, before reaching the pièce de résistance, the Eiffel Tower, which marks your finish line.
Trekking 25 miles along the most remarkable Roman monument in the country, Hadrian’s Wall, the route encompasses breathtaking views and fascinating ruins with the picturesque Northumberland countryside providing stunning backdrops from start to finish. *You pay the non-refundable Registration Fee to Global Adventure Challenges to administer the challenge, and to secure relevant permits. You then commit to raising the minimum sponsorship – 80% of the minimum sponsorship MUST be received by the charity no later than 12 weeks before departure. The charity will then pay for your Challenge Costs out of the sponsorship raised.
