Father Christmas Flies in with the RAF

Father Christmas and his elves holding cheque
Monday 16th December 2013

Our patients received a flying visit from Father Christmas and his elves thanks to the RAF Careers Service.

Father Christmas and the RAF crew landed at the nearby Manchester Academy before making the short walk to the children's hospital to hand out gifts to our patients.

Children were very excited to see Father Christmas with one patient telling us that she had recently been to lapland and had asked Father Christmas to visit, so thank you Ella!

Santa then returned to the hospital, before flying past in his helictoper so more patients and staff could see him and wave goodbye.

As well handing out gifts to the patients the RAF Careers service also kindly donated £750.
