By accepting a charity place in this year’s London Marathon, I confirm that I agree to the following declaration:

• I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older.
• I agree to participate in the TCS London Marathon 2027 on behalf of Manchester Foundation Trust Charity and pledge to raise a minimum of £2,000 (excluding Gift Aid). This amount will be paid to Manchester Foundation Trust Charity no more than six weeks after the event.
• I commit to raising at least 50% of my £2,000 fundraising target no more than four weeks before the event date.
• If I am unable to meet the minimum fundraising amount, I understand that I may be required to cover the outstanding balance myself.
• I acknowledge that I must complete a second stage of registration with the event organisers in order to participate in the marathon.
• By accepting a London Marathon place through Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, I consent to being contacted by phone, email, text, and WhatsApp about the event. These communications will provide support with fundraising, training, race day information, and instructions on how to submit the funds raised. I understand I will not receive other electronic communications from the charity unless I opt in to receive additional news and appeals from them.
• I understand that my postal address will be used to send me my running vest and any other fundraising materials I may request.
• I agree to inform Manchester Foundation Trust Charity as soon as possible if I am unable to participate in the London Marathon due to injury or illness.
• I understand that I am only able to defer my charity place in the London Marathon once. If I defer my place a second time it will be formally cancelled. In this instance, I would need to reapply for a new place and restart my fundraising.
• By agreeing to this declaration, I also accept the terms and conditions set out by the event organisers (available on request).
