By accepting a charity place for your child in the Mini or Junior Great Manchester Run, I confirm that I agree to the following declaration:

• I understand that children taking part in the Mini Great Manchester Run must be accompanied by a parent.
• I agree for my child to participate in the 2026 Mini or Junior Great Manchester Run on behalf of Manchester Foundation Trust Charity and pledge to raise a minimum of £50 (excluding Gift Aid), to be paid to the charity no later than six weeks after the event.
• I agree that my child will use their place to raise sponsorship for Manchester Foundation Trust Charity only.
• I understand that money raised by the charity at this year’s event will support its MediCinema Appeal. I understand that if I would prefer my child’s sponsorship to support a different area of the charity’s work (for example, an individual hospital or ward that is meaningful to me), it is my responsibility to inform the charity by emailing charity.events@mft.nhs.uk.
• I commit to my child raising at least 50% of the £50 fundraising target no later than four weeks before the event date.
• I understand that the £10 registration fee is non-refundable and does not count towards my child’s fundraising target.
• I acknowledge that I must complete a second stage of registration with the event organisers in order for my child to participate. I accept that it is my responsibility to complete this by the stated deadline and that failure to do so may result in my child’s place being withdrawn. I understand that I will not be entitled to a refund or deferral.
• I agree to inform Manchester Foundation Trust Charity as soon as possible if my child is unable to participate due to injury or illness.
• I understand that if I cancel or withdraw my child from the event, my child’s place will be returned to the charity. Any request to defer the place to the following year is entirely at the charity’s discretion and may be subject to additional fees.
• I understand that the charity will be capturing video and photographs during the event. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to remove myself and my child from photographs or inform the camera operator or charity staff if I do not wish for me or my child to be photographed or filmed.
• By agreeing to this declaration, I also accept the terms and conditions set out by the event organisers (available on request).
