In support of our Build to Beat Breast Cancer Appeal, we have launched our brand new The 100 Club, offering an exclusive membership for corporates and businesses. With the creation of The 100 Club, we are inviting businesses who want to help women with breast cancer pledge tens of thousands of pounds to the appeal.

Every single day, 153 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK. It is the most common form of cancer in our country today, with rates increasing by 24% in the last 30 years. This disease breaks apart families, affects men and women alike, and is responsible for 11,000 deaths every year.

These statistics become bleaker when we consider that the future of UK breast cancer services is under threat. The current breast imaging workforce has a significant shortfall, meaning that the treatment needs of our patients cannot be met.

Put simply- we need to act now.

Cardinal Global Logistics: A proud member of The 100 Club

Cardinal Global Logistics are an award-winning logistics company, who have been operating for over 25 years. They are an incredibly valued supporter of our Charity, and we’re very grateful that they’ve chosen be part of The 100 Club and raise the funds to support this vital build.

Brian Hay, CEO of Cardinal Global Logistics based in Wythenshawe, said: “Cardinal Global Logistics are proud to support the Build to Beat Breast Cancer Appeal, raising funds for a new training facility at Wythenshawe Hospital. As an organisation, we are delighted to be backing this appeal which will provide training for a new generation of breast imaging experts, helping thousands of more women in the region (and beyond) to get the treatment they need. We are equally pleased to be a part of The 100 Club recognition programme for this appeal, which is an initiative to encourage support over £10,000 with recognition opportunities, which is particularly favourable to businesses such as ours”.

Do you own a business or know of one that could get involved in our The 100 Club?
