The Work We Do
Trafford General Hospital is a district general hospital providing a range of services to patients in its community, including general surgery and medicine, children’s services, cardiology, elderly care, dermatology and rheumatology.
Trafford General Hospital was opened in 1948 by Aneurin Bevan, and is the birth place of the NHS.
Why We Need Your Help
The support that Trafford General Hospital Charity provides helps to make a difficult time easier for patients at our hospital at what can be a very emotional and daunting time.
With your help, the charity supports projects which benefit our patients and their families, particularly when they have long or frequent stays in hospital.
We do this by focussing our fundraising efforts on three key areas – treatment, research and care. This can include the purchase of cutting edge equipment, funding pioneering medical research and creating a patient-friendly environment allowing our patients, and their families, to feel welcome and at ease during their time in hospital. But we can only do this with the help of our supporters. Please help us to make a difference and get involved today.
