Charity announces exciting new fundraising initiative for businesses

Friday 24th March 2023

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity is excited to announce a new match-funding initiative to encourage businesses to maximise their fundraising efforts.

Businesses are invited to a launch event for the new initiative, Making a Difference…Together, on Tuesday 28 March. Join us for breakfast and to hear all the ways in which your business can get involved, raising vital funds for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.

The breakfast launch will see our corporate partner, Peninsula Group, announce a match funding scheme that doubles the fundraising undertaken by other businesses throughout 2023. The company has set aside £100,000 and is encouraging all businesses to get involved.

Allan Eves, the Senior Manager for the Corporate Partnerships Team at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We’re delighted that Peninsula Group has joined forces with our Charity to launch Making a Difference…Together. They have been wonderful supporters of our Charity over the years.

“This initiative will take our corporate fundraising to the next level and have what we hope will be a life-changing impact on children, families, and staff at our hospital who work tirelessly to support them.”

Peter Done, Peninsula Group Founder and CEO, said: “We’re so proud to be a corporate supporter of the Charity which makes a tremendous impact on the lives of our young patients, their families and staff.

“We know what a difference corporate supporters make, and we strongly encourage businesses to play their part in transforming children’s outcomes by signing up. If you’re considering how your business can fundraise or want to find out more about our match-funding initiative, do come along to our event.”
